1) Download this UPDATE.ZIP. (don’t extract – don’t rename)

2) Copy this update.zip to the root of your  SD card (external / internal)

3) Switch off your phone, remove battery for 10 secs – reconnect it

4) Press and hold Volume UP + Power Key together, a green screen will appear keep pressing those buttons. After few secs a red screen will appear, now release the key press.

5) Now after doing all the above steps you will be entered in recovery .

The above image is not the stock recovery but both are almost same so .
Now follow these steps to root karbonn A7 without cwm or root karbonn A7 with stock/original recovery 

1) Choose apply update from sdcard option from recovery menu.

2) After that browse and select the update.zip which you placed on your SD card previously.

3) Select Yes to confirm flashing the update. Wait 5 – 10 min till the update get installed completely.

4) Now select reboot system now option from recovery menu.

 yipeee!!!! you have sucesfully rooted your karbonn a7 with stock recovery .

How to Root Karbonn A7- second method

As i told you that this step is not for newbies so don't try this.
for this step you have to flash cwm on your karbonn a7 
so first flash cwm on karbonn A7

1) Download this Karbonn A7 rooter.zip, extract it on your desktop.

2) You will find two zip files, copy the SU-Busybox-Installer file to your phone SD card (external).

3) Switch off your phone, remove battery for 10 secs – reconnect it.

4) Press and hold Volume UP + Power Key together, a green screen will appear keep pressing those buttons. After few secs a RED screen will appear, now release the key press.

5) Choose “install zip from sdcard” option from recovery menu.

(Volume Key – UP Down )

(Power On Key -  Select )

6) Select choose zip from SD card > Select  SU-Busybox-Installer.zip > Yes to confirm flashing.

7) When flashing over, select reboot system now option from recovery menu.
