How To install cwm Recovery on micromax A67 Bolt - Procedure
- First of all download these two tools
- Extract and rename the file inside cwm.rar
- Rename Boot.img to Recovery.img
- Extract the other compressed file
- Go inside the folder delete the recovery.img and replace this one with the file you just renamed .(recovery.img)
- Open the android multi-tools and type in 0(in numerics "zero")

- Now boot your phone in fastboot mode using holoboot
- Once in fastboot mode (your phone should show that in upper left hand corner)
- Connect phone to pc via usb cable
- Now type in "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
- Wait for it to finish and type fastboot reboot.
- You will be taken to your android UI , now you can reboot into recovery using holoboot.

DeleteReply fast, Buddy, Actually I am a android developer at xda. Here is my profile @rahulsinghal . Atleast upload a backup of your stock firmware, if u cant make a stock firmware.zip . So without wasting my time, atleast upload a backup of rom. I have already done a factory reset. Actually, i have used some tweaks which had modified my system apps and binaries. Thats why need it. Tell me if u cant :(
ReplyDeleteSo why are you changing your Whole firmware just tell me those places Where you edited .. i will give you a fresh copy of that , Because Firmware Of A67 Is 325 mb in size so it is not that much easy to upload .. please comment if i can help you anyhow... :) And second thing i can give you a Factory Fresh Firmware of micromax A67 version but unfortunately it can not be flashed by Cwm , You have to flash it by flashing tools :)
DeleteBuddy. So upload the whole system folder as i have installed differemt tweaks and scripts. So its not possible for me to tell you which files is causing error. Please dont give any more suggestions. Tell me straight forward if you can otherwise i have to look for different place. Reply fast. N i have tested that firmware thats not flashing with flash tools. Buddy plz tell me straight forward. I have already wasted my too mucj in checking for your reply. Reply asap

ReplyDeleteHow to install ADB and fast boot drivers on computer / pc / laptop . May this guide will help you
ReplyDeleteFirst of all you need to download Android SDK Tools form Android Development Site.
In order to make the Android SDK Manager work you must have Java installed in your PC.
Download & Install Java SE Development Kit 7 for your windows.
While installing JDK leave all the options selected as default and finish the installation.
Run the downloaded Android SDK Manager .exe file and select C:/ drive as path as it will be easier for you to access it later.
Complete the installation process and press the Finish button in the end in order to run the Android SDK Manager.
As soon as you press finish, Android SDK Manager will open up showing you a number of options / features. Here you only need to select the required files.
Uncheck all these options.
Check only Android SDK Platform-Tools and Google USB Drivers, You’ll find the Google USB Drivers at the bottom in Extras.
After checking the required two options, you need to accept the Terms and Conditions for both Android SDK Platform-tools and Google USB Drivers and begin installation.
As soon as the installation begins you’ll see Android SDK Manager Log showing you installation logs.
As soon as ”Done Loading Pacakges” appears at the bottom of Android SDK Manager Logs, you’ve successfully installed the ADB & Fastboot Drivers on your Windows PC, Congrats!

So making a custom rom for a device that you dontr own is quite difficult But Still i am in Working for a custom rom for micromax A67 Bolt . And second thing brother making roms without Support of Device owners is also Difficult , Because We need certain files time to time and we also need a device owner to check the files We customise .
